Each year the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires publishes a Giving Back guide listing over 1,000 nonprofits by category, i.e. Arts & Culture, Housing, Youth & Education. Listings are FREE for all Berkshire nonprofits.
Designed to connect nonprofits to people who want to “give back” either as volunteers or donors, the Giving Back guide has become an indispensable tool.
The Giving Back guide has grown every year as more nonprofits participate with full page profiles and more groups such as schools, giving circles, and leadership programs request the book.
We are excited to announce a partnership with The Berkshire Eagle to distribute the 2022-23 Giving Back guide to 14,000 subscribers in October 2022.
This year we will partner with The Berkshire Eagle in distributing our full-color, glossy magazine style guide to 14,000 subscribers.
We know that newspaper subscribers are more civic-minded in general, and our mail date on a Saturday in October ensures the Giving Back guide will be in homes in time for year-end giving decisions.
The Berkshire Eagle is an award-winning newspaper that is locally-owned and offers robust coverage of the nonprofit sector.
The guide includes a directory (scroll to pages 29-35) of all 1,000+ Berkshire County Nonprofits organized by category. All nonprofits are listed free of charge. Please email mary@npcberkshires.org if you have changes to your listing or cannot find your organization.
