Free one-hour consultation:

Many thanks for all of these links Liana, and thanks too for the conversation yesterday. It was so helpful to speak with someone so steeped in nonprofit work! Henry/Executive Director Sand Springs, Williamstown

Meanwhile, I wanted to write to thank you again so much for your fractional staffing recommendation. It is life-saving for us. Your suggestion came just in the nick of time. – Nicki Wilson/The Triplex

Coaching:

Technical assistance is offered by the hour or on a project basis. Having an experienced advisor with extensive nonprofit background, familiar with local funders, and adept at marketing, management & planning provides real value for the money. If we don’t have the expertise in house, we’ll connect you to the right consultant.  NPC members pay $50/hour for assistance.

Note: If your organization is struggling financially, please contact the NPC for pro bono consulting options.

Our talk was so valuable and full of practical guidance on Berkshire-specific strategies. Can’t tell you how helpful it was for my mental health alone. Will let you know how we progress. Betty/Bd Chair Construct

HELP STARTING YOUR NONPROFIT:

Let us help you step-by-step from concept to completion of legal forms. The more you can do before a lawyer is necessary, the less expensive your start-up costs will be. The NPC discounted rate of $50/hour applies.

Thanks for the info! You’re making our jobs much easier, which we appreciate. Marvin Purry/West Side Legends

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP:

Using a fiscal sponsorship arrangement offers a way for a cause to attract donors even when it is not yet recognized as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). The NPC can serve as your administrative “home” collecting contributions and grants on your behalf for a 7% fee. As part of the agreement, the NPC also offers management coaching. Learn about fiscal sponsorship in this short video (NEO Law Group). Learn more about fiscal sponsorship from the National Council of Nonprofits.

Note: Fiscally sponsored projects must become NPC members.

Liana and NPC have been instrumental in providing resources, guidance and support for my program, The Berkshire Pond Hockey Classic. She and everyone at NPC are a pleasure to work with and are appreciated! – Alex Regen/Berkshire Pond Hockey Classic
