Technical assistance is offered by the hour or on a project basis. Having an experienced advisor with extensive nonprofit background, familiar with local funders, and adept at marketing, management & planning provides real value for the money. If we don’t have the expertise in house, we’ll connect you to the right consultant. NPC members pay $50/hour for assistance.
Note: If your organization is struggling financially, please contact the NPC for pro bono consulting options.
Let us help you step-by-step from concept to completion of legal forms. The more you can do before a lawyer is necessary, the less expensive your start-up costs will be. The NPC discounted rate of $50/hour applies.
Using a fiscal sponsorship arrangement offers a way for a cause to attract donors even when it is not yet recognized as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). The NPC can serve as your administrative “home” collecting contributions and grants on your behalf for a 7% fee. As part of the agreement, the NPC also offers management coaching. Learn about fiscal sponsorship in this short video (NEO Law Group). Learn more about fiscal sponsorship from the National Council of Nonprofits.
Note: Fiscally sponsored projects must become NPC members.
