Join MBM Berkshires, an online discussion group for people interested in all things nonprofit. MBM Berkshires is a moderated email list that is open to anyone willing to adhere to the principles of civil discourse. The purpose of MBM Berkshires is to strengthen communication within the nonprofit sector of the Berkshires. Mostly it is used to post job openings, educational opportunities, and announce events or opportunities of particular interest to nonprofits. Using a fiscal sponsorship arrangement offers a way for a cause to attract donors even when it is not yet recognized as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). The NPC can serve as your administrative “home” collecting contributions and grants on your behalf for a 10% fee.
