Launched in July 2017, Berkshire Nonprofit Connections was the first magazine dedicated exclusively to the Berkshire nonprofit sector. Published twice annually through 2019, each issue focused on a theme. Issue 1 focused on the health and human services, Issue 2 on food and food insecurity, Issue 3 the role of young people in the nonprofit sector and issues 4-5 on leadership.
In January 2020 the magazine evolved from a trade publication to a monthly email with an opportunity to continue featuring the voices of the nonprofit community and providing practical articles designed to address the challenges we all face. It is distributed to 1,000+ nonprofit employees, consultants and supporters of our sector each month thanks to local business sponsors. Past print issues and emails are available to read online. Single, archived print copies can be purchased for $14.95 online ($6.95 for nonprofits) or at the NPC office.
Connections is a targeted, digital publication emailed monthly to over 1,000 subscribers with the financial support of our sponsors. Each issue requires one sponsor at $250. This underwrites our production costs including development, design and distribution.
Sponsors receive acknowledgment within Connections, via social media and on our website, including a direct link to sponsor’s website.
