Staff & Board Development Office Hours

Meet with nonprofit organization consultant Andrea Sholler to discuss issues related to staff and/or board development.  Andrea specializes in organizational transitions and community-engaged program development.  Her NPC office hours will focus on issues such as:

 

  • Developing strategies to hire and maintain valued staff;
  • How to humanely fire staff who are no longer a good fit for the organization;
  • Engaging existing board members;
  • Creating plans to bring on new board members;
  • Job descriptions for board members.

 

Andrea has led nonprofit organizations in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts for which she created programs to overhaul staff, enhance staff development and build board engagement.  Her leadership roles include serving as Associate Director of the Tow Foundation, Managing Director of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and Executive Director of Dance Theater Workshop(now New York Live Arts).
