As nonprofits dig into diversity, equity, access and inclusion work, it’s important to have hard data on board diversity to serve as a critical measuring tool going forward in the sector’s efforts to examine and change governance and organizational practices.
This survey was conducted in the fall of 2022, featuring questions ranging from “what is the maximum number of board members allowed by your bylaws?”, to “what is the age range of your board members?” to “has your board participated in any IDEA training in the last year?”
